As the coronavirus continues to spread and governments and societies around the world are introducing new precautions and initiatives to protect their people and the economy, we would like to provide you with an update.
Predicting what comes next
At Radiometer, we continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 closely, and our commitment to put life first and maintain our critical deliveries, while keeping you and our colleagues safe, remain our top priorities.
While it is difficult to predict what comes next in the outbreak of the pandemic, we are proactively leveraging the learnings from the early stages of the outbreak and are working closely with our suppliers to plan and secure future deliveries and to ensure the right prioritization from their side. This will allow us to react swiftly if needed.
Upholding deliveries
Overall, we have taken a very careful and considerate approach throughout the entirety of the pandemic and have done our outmost to ensure we can continue to keep up our deliveries.
Amongst other things, we have had a strong focus on protecting critical positions in our manufacturing facilities, mandating associates not directly involved in production to work-from-home to reduce the potential exposure. Furthermore, we have introduced health and safety measures on-site such as social distancing, physical separation of teams and shifts, face masks and additional cleaning.
As a result, we are currently not experiencing an impact of COVID-19 on our ability to deliver and as such we generally encourage that your orders reflect your current need. If we see a significant increase in demand, we have plans to ramp up production where possible. You are always welcome to contact us if you see a spike in your demand.
